The Wakiso District LCV chairman addresses stakeholders during the Roads Committee meeting held at the District Headquarters

Wakiso District Chairman Dr. Matia Lwanga Bwanika has expressed concern over the ongoing unlawful arrests and embarrassment of civil servants especially Engineers with out making thorough investigations on matters of embezzlement of public funds.
The chairman was addressing stakeholders during the Roads Committee meeting held at the district headquarters on Thursday, 3rd November 2022.
He said such acts are demoralizing civil servants and frustrating the implementation of government developmental projects.
The Woman Member of Parliament Wakiso Betty Ethel Naluyima called upon Central Government to earmark special funds for the construction of the main roads in Wakiso District due to its unique status in the country.
