The CAO Alfred Malinga, starts monitoring LLG programs and projects in the District.

The Chief Administrative Officer Alfred Malinga yesterday started monitoring Lower Local Government government programs and projects in the District. He monitored projects in Kajjansi Town council on 23/02/2023. He monitored road projects constructed using Uganda Road Fund these include; Kitende -Ssisa-Sekiwunga 1.2km,Ssisa -Lutaba 4.2km,Kajjansi headquarters buildings and proposed purchase of Land and St. Padre Pio Kabulamuliro primary school. At St Padre Pio he commended the Rotary Club of Bwebajja for provision of 5000 litre water tank to the school.  

The District Roads Committee Monitored Several Projects Throughout The District.

The committee members were led by the Woman Member of Parliament Hon. Betty Ethyl Naluyima, Her Worship the Mayor Nansana Municipality, Regina Bakitte Musoke, the Mayor Makindye Sabagabo, the District Executive committee, LC111 Chairpersons, the District Engineer and Engineers from the Municipalities and Town Councils. The members monitored construction of a box culvert at Kabumbi by Nansana Municipal council which was near completion, spot improvement of Sissa swamp in Kajjansi Town council, construction of a box culvert at Kayunga Kawanda,...

Road construction updates: Asphalt Sealing of Wakiso District Road

Today Wakiso District officials, led by the District Chairperson, Chief Administrative Officer and the District Engineer monitored the ongoing construction works along Wakiso District Road. The contractor Ragmah (U) Ltd has commenced on asphalt sealing of 30mm thick on the District Road. The Chairperson Matia Lwanga Bwanika said all road side business vendors will not be allowed after completion of the road. The District Engineer Sam Mwesigwa said that this phase is targeting a length of 320 meters.

A project inception meeting for Habitat for humanity Uganda support for livelihood restoration and community development under UETCL Mutundwe- Entebbe 132KV power transmission line was held at the District Headquarters.

A project inception meeting for Habitat for humanity Uganda support for livelihood restoration and community development under Uganda Electricity Transmission company Limited, Mutundwe- Entebbe 132KV power transmission line was held at the District Headquarters. The Mutundwe- Entebbe power line will traverse through 22 villages with a total of 1053 project affected persons. The areas affected include Nsangi, Kajjansi, Katabi, Kyengera and Makindye Sabagabo. The CAO Alfred Malinga commended UETCL for the venture and support towards promoting corporate social responsibility.
