A team of technical staff today monitored activities supported by AVSI, an NGO to ascertain and appreciate what AVSI is doing .
The team visited Gudie leisure farm and COWI in Najjera and Kireka respectively in Kira Municipality.
Most of the projects visited support the youth to set up Agro-based enterprises aimed at transforming the youth to entrepreneurs.
The visit was aimed at acquainting District officials with activities so far done in the district before they formalize their memorandum of understanding and also to guide the operations of the District by appreciating what they are already doing in the district.
The team comprised of staff from the production, community and Education departments.
