This system ensures easy access to rightful land information without middlemen, helping to curb fraud. Wakiso District celebrated International Teacher's Day at Forest Park Buloba, with leaders urging the government to support private schools for their role in education. L.C 5 Chairman Matia Lwanga highlighted collaboration between government schools and parents for student welfare. District Education Officer Fredrick Kiyingi called for more teachers to meet rising demand. MP Betty Ethel Naluyima critiqued the government’s directive requiring all teachers to be graduates. #InternationalTeachersDay #Wakiso

Wakiso shares progress in the fight against tuberculosis in Uganda!

Excited to share our progress in the fight against tuberculosis in Uganda! Our led partners @USAID and @LPSH team, monitored the TB program in Nabweru, Nansana Municipality.  Out of 10,879 people screened, we tested 972 samples, leading to 34 diagnoses. We're proud that 32 individuals have started treatment! Nabweru is currently seeing the highest number of TB cases in the district.  Together, we can make a difference! #EndTB #UgandaHealth #PublicHealth
