The mobile vans for census mobilization have today 6/5/2024 been flagged off by the Deputy Chief Administrative Officer Wakiso Betty Nankindu to various areas to raise awareness and encourage participation in the upcoming census due to take place on Friday 10 May to 19th 2024. Wakiso District on the 17th of April 2024, commemorated the International Women’s Day 2024 at Entebbe Works ground in Entebbe Municipality. The day was celebrated under the theme "Accelerating Gender Equality through Women’s Economic Empowerment".
