Rotary Club of Wakiso Steps Up the Fight Against Malaria in Mende Sub-county

The Rotary Club of Wakiso has strengthened the fight against malaria in Mende Sub-county with a donation of essential malaria prevention, testing and treatment supplies.
The donation included 450 treated mosquito nets, 300 doses of anti-malarial medicine and 900 malaria rapid diagnostic test (MRDT) kits, aimed at supporting prevention, early detection and treatment of malaria in the community.
The items were handed over to SACAO Ms. Nakintu Prossy and Dr. Kalyango, In-charge of Mende Health Centre III, for distribution and use in supporting malaria control efforts within the sub-county.
The initiative underscores the importance of partnerships in protecting communities and strengthening access to essential health services.
