The District Chairperson Warns New Executive to Deliver or Face Consequences
The District Chairperson Eng. Ian Kyeyune has cautioned the newly appointed District Executive to deliver on their responsibilities or face consequences.
Addressing councillors shortly after the approval of the new Executive, he reminded the appointed members that their positions are intended to enhance service to councillors and the communities they represent, not elevate them above other council members.
He urged the Executive to remain accessible to all councillors, work collaboratively across political affiliations and promote unity within the Council. He also cautioned against actions that could deepen political or personal divisions.
“Many were worth these positions, but I had to choose depending on some circumstances and abilities. Let us accept and work together,” Kyeyune said.
