The District Water Officer Isaac Galabuzi revealed that the District water coverage stands at approximately 32% with rural areas covering 38% and urban areas 25% compared to National level of 66%.
The District sanitation level is at 88.2%
Busi subcounty has the lowest safe water coverage at 31% and latrine coverage at 25%.
