The Government of Uganda, with support from the World Bank, has launched a solar-powered piped water system in Katubwe Village, Mende subcounty benefiting over 1,000 homes. Minister Aisha Sukindi reaffirmed the commitment to provide safe water to all by 2030 and urged against politicizing this initiative.
