District Leaders Attend OVC Program Close-Out and Transition Meeting

The district leaders attended the close-out and transition meeting for the Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) program implemented by the Infectious Diseases Institute, that was held at Esella Country Hotel.
Since September 2022, the program supported by the United States Agency for International Development has played an important role in preventing HIV infections, promoting child survival, and reducing vulnerability among orphans, vulnerable children, adolescents, and their families across the district.
The meeting brought together district leaders and stakeholders to review key achievements, share lessons learned, and discuss the transition of services to ensure continued support for vulnerable children and families as the program comes to an end.
