The outgoing Chief Administrative Officer Wakiso Moses Bukenya Seguya on the 12th july, 2022, handed over office to the New Chief Administrative Officer Malinga Alfred from Otuke District Local Government.
The handover was witnessed by Senior Internal Auditor Kiyingi Miria and the Principal Finance Officer David Kabale in the CAO’s office. Bukenya Seguya has been transferred to Iganga District Local Government. Malinga vowed to improve service delivery in Wakiso District.
The HESS committee led by the Chairperson Hon. Kalyoowa Nasifu Dauda and the Secretary for Health on 17th June, 2022, monitored Health facilities in the District to assess the delivery Health service delivery in the District. The Heath facilities visited include; Wakiso HCIV, Kakiri HC III, Wakiso Epicenter and Bira HC III.
Training of Lower Local Government staff on Parish Development Management Information system baseline data collection has kicked off today at the District Headquarters.
Wakiso District Human Rights Committee has signed a grant with the French Embassy to support dialogue between law enforcers and Human Rights Defenders in Wakiso District. We thank the French Embassy for this support.
In a council meeting held at the district headquarters chaired by the Speaker Hon. Najja Nasifu a budget worth 110,674,230,000 Shillings has been approved for the financial year 2022/2023.
